Parents of a young boy who suffered severe wounds after being thrown from the 10th floor of the art gallery have revealed their "brave warrior" has accomplished his target of being able to swim, run, and jump anew.

The French boy was six years old when he was thrown from a ledge by a youth, at that time 17 years old.

The child, who was traveling with the family in August 2019 when targeted, survived a 100ft drop but received life-changing injuries, such as a cranial bleeding and shattered bones.

Parents shared in an progress report on a donation page, they were pleased that he had been able to progress with his swimming, running and jumping before his next surgery.

"He can't do it similar to youngsters his age, of course, but we can no longer portray his movements in any other way than by terming it's jumping, swimming, and running."

He, who spent many months in critical care, has persisted to develop brain resilience.

Following a legal proceeding at the Old Bailey, the teenager was sentenced of trying to kill and was jailed in the year 2020 for a minimum of fifteen years.
